Harley, you are 6 months old. 6 months of loving you more each and every day. 6 months of pure joy. 6 months of countless feedings, diaper changes, and thinking how is this much bodily fluid even possible.

At 6 months old, you love to blow raspberries. You love making this noise when you are displeased. You are so close to crawling. You love avocado and that’s about it. You love making screeching noises that resembles a teradactyl.

The life lessons you have taught me are infinite. But right now, the number one thing you have taught me is to make time for family.

At 6 months, we have finally traveled up to Canada to see your daddy’s family. You have met your aunt and uncle, and soon you will meet great aunts, great uncles and even your 101 year old great grandma. You bring us closer together. Thank you for showing me the importance of family. You have shown me that in the end, family is the most important. Your daddy and I can’t wait to officially become a family as of oct 21!

We love you to the moon and back!Ā
